It is understood that the total investment of the project is 2 billion yuan. It is planned to use the surplus syngas produced by the existing Shell pulverized coal gasification plant and adopt ethylene glycol technology developed by Sinopec independently developed to produce ethylene glycol. It mainly constructs synthesis gas cryogenic separation, syngas ethylene glycol, dilute nitric acid treatment, by-product recycling, supporting environmental protection facilities, and public works and auxiliary projects. The project covers an area of ​​200 acres and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2013. After the project is put into production, it is expected to produce 200,000 tons of ethylene glycol per year, achieve an output value of 1.7 billion yuan, and pay 150 million yuan in taxes.
