April BMW sales increase 18% worldwide China surges 67%

German BMW Group has announced that its car sales in almost all markets in the world in April 2011 have improved to varying degrees. Overall sales volume has increased by 17.9% year-on-year to 137,200 units. This data includes BMW Group. Sales of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce three car brands.

In April 2011, BMW Group sold a total of 20,800 vehicles in the Chinese market, a year-on-year increase of 67.2%. Sales accounted for 15% of BMW's global sales. In April, the American market accounted for 18.4% of BMW's global share, and BMW sales in this market increased by 18% year-on-year.

According to the data, in April 2011, BMW brand automobile sales increased by 14.8% year-on-year to 113,100 vehicles. The new BMW X3 sales reached 9902 units, an increase of 140% compared to 2010. In addition, the compact BMW X1 sold 10,846 cars.

In April 2011, MINI brand car sales reached 23,800 units, a year-on-year increase of 34.5%, of which the increase in the Chinese market was 89.2%, the increase in South Korea was 130.8%, and the increase in Russia was 283.7%.
