Michelin recently signed a cooperation agreement with XCMG and officially became the tire supplier for the XCMG large-scale loader. This is the first time that the company has become a contracted supplier of large-scale loader tire products for Chinese domestic manufacturing companies.
According to the contract, Michelin will supply XCMG with a full range of tire products, such as Michelin XHA2 for general road conditions and Michelin XLDD2 for loaders operating in harsh environments.
Yang Dongsheng, vice president of XCMG Group and general manager of Xugong LHD Machinery Division, stated that “in the large loader sector, Michelin is the first non-Chinese tire supplier of our choice. With the Chinese loader users for production efficiency, product performance The demands are getting higher and higher. We hope that through the cooperation with Michelin, we can introduce more advanced foreign technologies and products into the domestic market and apply it to our products, helping customers to achieve higher productivity while helping They reduce costs."
Michelin has been collaborating with Xugong Group since 2004 and was once the first tire supplier for the latter's all-terrain cranes. The cooperation between the two parties has gradually expanded to other business areas.
