The project was jointly completed by Tianhua Chemical Machinery and Automation Research and Design Institute and Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. A new type of coal moisture regulating and drying system was developed for the coke oven dry quenching process in the coking and steel industries.
According to reports, the equipment can reduce the coal moisture, improve the coking speed, shorten the coking time, improve the quality of coke, compared with the wet quenching significantly reduce the exhaust emissions, improve the operating environment, but also effective use of dry The superheated steam generated by the coke device is conducive to the comprehensive energy saving of steel enterprises. After the humidity adjustment, the energy consumption of coking coal can be reduced by 6 kg of standard coal per ton, reducing heat energy consumption by 11%, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level. Experts recommend serialized design of the complete set of equipment to speed up the promotion and application.
