In the crushing process, it is generally required to install a screening device and set a screening process. Its purpose is two: one is to avoid excessive crushing of ore; the second is to ensure the size of the ore. Screening equipment often forms a cyclical process with the Crushing Equipment, which is called closed circuit. In the whole crushing process, there are fewer closed circuits, and a closed loop is generally used. Screening equipment often used metal mesh, welded metal (steel) bars, a mechanical vibration, in order to avoid clogging of the sieve material. If the powder ore is too much, the water is too high, and the mesh hole will gradually shrink, it should be removed in time. On the other hand, due to the friction of the ore, the steel rod is gradually worn, and the size of the mesh hole is gradually enlarged, and should be replaced in time.
It is important to control the ore crushing by sieving method in heap leaching. Because the fine powder is too much, the permeability of the heap is poor, the flow rate is slow, and the surface of the heap is easy to accumulate; when the heap is sprayed, too much fine powder will increase the phenomenon of the separation of the ore heap. Under the impact of the liquid flow, the ore powder is concentrated in a certain part of the heap with the liquid flow filling, resulting in uneven seepage of the entire heap, which will inevitably lead to a decrease in the leaching rate.
In some cases, in order to dissociate the mineral from the bottom of the inclusion, the ore is required to have a fine particle size. In this case, it is generally preferred to granulate the ore.
