Seven liquid reference materials of Beijing Metrology Institute passed the national second-level review

[ Instrument Network Instrument Development ] On August 26, 2019, the standard substance for methanol naphthalene solution developed by Beijing Institute of Metrology and Chemical Research Institute (2 kinds), the standard substance for cholesterol solution in methanol (2 kinds), and the analysis standard for chloride component in water Substance (2 types) and lithium single element solution standard materials (1 species) passed the National Substance Standards Substance Review of the Standards Substance Management Committee.

At the judging meeting, the person in charge of the municipal metrology institute reported on the preparation process, valuation method, uniformity and stability investigation, uncertainty assessment and other aspects of the seven liquid reference materials declared. At the same time, in the difficulties of purity setting method and impurity analysis, the project leader and the experts made in-depth exchanges, and the experts also gave various guidance in technical operation. In the end, after discussion by the members of the expert group, it was agreed to pass the grading and appraisal of the national secondary standard materials, and affirmed the development of liquid reference materials in the Beijing Metrology Institute.

This is the first time that the Beijing Metrology Institute has applied for liquid reference materials. This achievement is not only an endorsement of the previous stage of work, but also a new starting point for the next stage. Beijing Metrology Institute will seriously summarize the development experience and the guidance of experts in the review. With the support of the leaders of the hospital, with the cooperation of functional departments at all levels, all colleagues will continue to work hard to increase the development of standard materials. Investing efforts to broaden the development of standard materials and realize the development of various types of liquid, solid and biological reference materials.
