Successful development of new composite processing machine tools

Matsuura Machinery Co., Ltd. announced on April 12, 2006 at the "Mold Processing Technology Exhibition (INTERMOLD2006)", which was opened at "Index Osaka", and successfully developed a new composite processing machine "CUBLEX-25". In the case of a vertical machine tool (MC), a grinding function has been added to a multi-tasking machine with a turning machine function. In this way, in addition to the rotary cutting of the cutting and turning parts of the MC part of the existing multi-tasking machine, one machine can complete the grinding process. "Planned for the fall of 2006" (Songpu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.).

The basic structure of the new multi-tasking machine is the same as that of the 5-axis control type MC. It is the addition of the spinner function to the MC. Specifically, the spindle side of the rotary tool moves in the X, Y, and Z axis directions, and the table side on which the workpiece is fixed uses the B axis (the axis outside the Y axis) and the C axis (the axis outside the Z axis). Two axes are rotated. With this structure, it is possible to carry out the simultaneous milling of the 5-axis milling process, the rotation of the B-axis, and the rotary cutting which is comparable to the horizontal rotary table, and the rotary cutting which is comparable to the vertical rotary table by the C-axis rotation. .

It features a direct drive motor (DD motor) on the C axis. The maximum speed of the C axis reached 3000 rpm. This is one of the keys to achieving the grinding function.

Grinding is achieved by simultaneously rotating the spindle and the C axis in the opposite direction. The maximum speed of the spindle is 15,000 rpm. If the C axis is rotated in the opposite direction to the main shaft on this basis, the maximum relative rotational speed between the two is 18,000 rpm. At this time, the sand stone tool is fixed on the main shaft, and the maximum relative rotational speed of the sand stone tool and the workpiece will also reach 18,000 rpm. In principle, it is the use of this high speed relative rotational speed for workpiece grinding. The coolant is used during grinding as well as when cutting and turning.

The company did not showcase the new composite machining machine, but exhibited samples of the workpiece. These workpieces are cylindrical in shape and complex in shape, and are ground on the tapered wall of the inner circumference. In addition, the "mouth" portion of the outer circumference and the characters of the inner circumference are simultaneously processed by five axes, and the inner circumferential groove is formed by rotary cutting.

Stamping Parts

Stamping parts: The most used in hardware processing refers to the molds for steel/non-ferrous metals and other plates at room temperature, which are formed into a specified shape by the pressure required for processing by a press. Automobile shock absorbers are mainly used to suppress the shock of the spring and the impact from the road surface when the spring rebounds after shock absorption. When passing on uneven roads, although the shock-absorbing spring can filter the vibration of the road, the spring itself will reciprocate, and the car shock absorber is used to suppress the jump of this spring. If the shock absorber is too soft, the body will jump up and down. If the shock absorber is too hard, it will bring too much resistance and prevent the spring from working properly. In the process of modifying the suspension system, the hard shock absorber should be matched with the hard spring, and the hardness of the spring is closely related to the weight of the car. Therefore, heavier cars generally use harder automotive shock absorber stamping parts. A device connected to the vibration-inducing crankshaft to counteract the torsional vibration of the crankshaft (that is, the phenomenon that the crankshaft is twisted by the impact of the ignition of the cylinder)
