When the introduction of national standards for wind power grid integration has attracted considerable attention from the industry. According to Qin Haiyan, secretary general of the Wind Energy Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society, the National Energy Administration commissioned the Wind Power Association and the China Electricity Council to draft a grid-connected testing method that may indicate the introduction of grid-connected standards. He said that at present, China's wind power has entered the era of large-scale development, and a grid-connected standard that meets China's national conditions is of utmost importance.

“To formulate standards, we must listen more to the views and voices of the wind power industry.” Li Junfeng said, “First, the introduction of wind power grid-connected standards will become a national standard upon its introduction; secondly, this standard should consider the level and status of industry development; Third, our standards will not exceed the internationally accepted rules."
