Classification of access control electric locks and analysis of installation scenarios

This paper mainly introduces the classification and installation scenario analysis of the access control electric lock, which mainly includes the classification and installation basic knowledge of the electric lock. Let's take a look at it with Xiaobian:

Classification of electric locks
• Commonly used electric locks for access control include: electric lock, magnetic lock, electric lock, electric lock.
1, electric plug lock: electric plug lock to see the wire is divided into: two-wire electric plug lock, five-wire electric plug lock, eight-wire electric plug lock.
1.1 Two-wire electric plug: There are two wires, red and black, and red is connected to the power supply +12VDC black to GND. Disconnect any wire, lock the lock, and open the door. Two-wire electric lock, the design is relatively simple, there is no single-chip control circuit, the lock body is easy to heat and hot, the impact current is relatively large, and it belongs to the low-priced electric lock with low price.
1.2 Five-wire electric plug: There are two wires, red and black, and red is connected to the power supply +12VDC black to GND. There are also three lines of COM NO NC, which are the magnetic signal lines of the door, reflecting the on and off states of the door. NO and NC respectively form two pairs of signals opposite to COM (a set of closed signals, one set of open signals). It passes the door magnet, according to the current door open or closed state, outputs different switch signals to the access controller to make judgments, such as the illegal access alarm of the access control, the door is not closed for a long time, etc., relying on these signals to make judgments, if not These functions are required, and the magnetic signal lines of the door can be disconnected. The five-wire electric plug lock adopts single-chip controller, which is heat-friendly, with delay control and magnetic signal output with door. It is a common type electric lock with good cost performance.
The so-called delay control means that there is a dial switch on the lock body, which can set the delay time of closing the door. Usually it can be set to 0 seconds, 2.5 seconds, 5 seconds, 9 seconds. Each manufacturer's lock has a slightly different delay.
1.3 Eight-wire electric plug lock: The principle is the same as the 5-wire electric plug lock. In addition to the gate state output, the lock state output is also added. That is, the lock is not extended and the signal is different. Reflects the opening and closing status of the door. It passes the door magnet and outputs different switch signals to the access controller according to the current door's on or off state.
2, magnetic lock:
The magnetic lock, also called the electromagnetic lock, is an electric lock that relies on the suction generated between the electromagnet and the iron block to close the door. The magnetic lock is also an electric lock that opens the door with power off.
Some magnetic locks are output with the door state (door magnetic state). You carefully observe the terminals. In addition to the power supply terminals, there are also COM NO NC three terminals. The functions of these terminals can be based on whether the current door is open or not. Closely, different switch signals are output to the access controller for judgment. For example, the illegal intrusion alarm of the access control and the long-term shutdown of the door depend on these signals for judgment. If these functions are not required, the door status signal terminals may not be connected. .
3, electric lock, mute lock, motor lock:
Disadvantages of electric control lock: The impact current is large, and the impact on the stability of the system is large. When the door is opened, the noise is relatively loud. Inconvenient to install, often need professional welding equipment, spot welding to the iron door. Pay attention to the construction, the door opening delay can not be long, can only be set within 1 second, if the time is long, it may cause the electric control lock to heat damage.
In response to the shortcomings of noise, the new "silent electric lock" is designed, referred to as "silent lock".
Another electric lock with a smaller sound, instead of using the principle of an electromagnet, drives a small motor to telescope the lock. Generally called motor lock or spiritual lock.
The electric lock, mute lock and motor lock are mainly used for the occasion of the cell unit door, the bank gate and the second door. It can also be opened with a knob or key locked in the door.
Basic knowledge of installation
• The difficulty in access control installation is the installation of the electric lock. The electric lock is mainly determined by the door.
• So the most basic question is, “What are you guys?”
• Simple points, doors can be divided into glass doors, wooden doors / metal doors (security doors)
Glass door
• It is recommended to install “electric lock” as long as conditions permit
• The so-called condition means that the vertical thickness of the upper door frame is greater than 4.5cm
The electric mortise lock is concealed. The lock body should be buried in the starter frame. The above figure is the most common installation method of the electric mortise lock.
1.1 glazed glass doors with upper and lower sides
• The most common electric lock installation method
• No need to use any extra accessories
1.2 Glass door with upper border and no border
• There is no hem, so use the “lower door clamp” to fix the keyhole
1.3 Up and down borderless glass doors
• Need to use the “door clamp” to fix the electric mortise lock, and the “lower door clamp” to fix the lock hole
1.4 Description
• The advantages of the electric mortise lock: the concealed appearance is beautiful, and the door can be opened 180 degrees inside and outside.
• Disadvantages: It is not as durable as the magnetic lock, and the keyhole is boring.
2. Wooden door, metal door (security door)
• It is recommended to install a magnetic lock
• Magnetic lock advantage: durable
• Magnetic lock disadvantage: only open the door at 90 degrees, that is, it can only be opened inside or outside.
2.1 Hanging installation without auxiliary bracket
• No brackets are the most common way to install
• A typical picture of a hanging installation requiring a door frame that exceeds the vertical plane of the door by more than 3 cm is as follows:

2.2 L bracket auxiliary hanging installation
• When the door frame is not wide enough, extend the width of the door frame with the L bracket to allow the magnetic lock to “hang up”
2.3 Internal door opening, ZL bracket auxiliary installation
• Hanging installation, the direction of the lock is opposite to the direction of opening the door. If the door is opened inward, the lock is installed outside. If the door is opened outward, the lock is installed inside.
• Sometimes the door is opened. Because of the aesthetic considerations, it is not desirable to lock the outside. At this time, the LZ bracket can only be used for auxiliary installation.
3. Glass door mounted magnetic lock
• Some large glass doors are not suitable for electric locks, because they are not as strong as magnetic locks.
• If the upper and lower door frames are covered, think of it as a wooden door.
• Under the borderless (without edging) glass door, you need to use the auxiliary U-shaped bracket
