The Omar Intercontinental light truck with the ISF 3.8-liter light diesel engine from the Foton Cummins JV was recently unveiled and became one of the biggest highlights of Foton Motor’s 2009 new model.
Foton Motor Co., Ltd. carefully designed the Omar Intercontinental high-end light truck with a number of European technologies and design elements, and the newly-developed Cummins light diesel engine will be officially launched in the second half of 2009.
The ISF series 3.8 and 2.8-liter inline four-cylinder high-pressure direct-injection light-duty diesel engine produced by the Beijing Foton Cummins Joint Venture was built by Cummins with significant investment, from the Cummins U.S. headquarters R&D center, the Cummins Europe R&D center and the Cummins China R&D center in Wuhan. The joint development of high-performance environmental protection power, with a power range of 109 to 170 hp, has a high starting point, high performance and low emissions, and can meet Euro III, Euro IV and above emission standards, and is a key product for Cummins to enter the light commercial vehicle market. .
This series of light-duty diesel engines will be widely used in Foton Motor's light vehicle product line including light trucks, pickup trucks and MPVs. Compared with several light diesel engines currently available in the domestic market, Foton Cummins products are unique.
First of all, this is the result of the strong cooperation between Futian and Cummins. Secondly, the ISF engine embodies Cummins's R&D experience over the 90 years since its founding, which reflects Cummins' unique ability to integrate air intake, combustion optimization, filtration, and aftertreatment systems to meet today's most stringent international emissions and engine performance standards. . More importantly, these key component systems have been locally produced at Cummins' plants in Shanghai, Wuxi and Beijing. Third, the products of Foton JV will enter the overseas market with the support of Cummins global network. Cummins global network covers 190 countries and regions, with more than 500 dealers and more than 5200 agent outlets. Over the past year, Cummins and Fukuda have been deeply studying the development of Omagh's overseas expansion plans.

Reading Braille:
1. Familiarize yourself with the Braille alphabet, which consists of six dots arranged in two columns of three dots each. Each dot or combination of dots represents a different letter, number, punctuation mark, or special symbol.
2. Place your fingertips lightly on the Braille text, typically on a page or surface made specifically for Braille.
3. Feel the dots with your fingertips and identify the patterns to determine the corresponding letters, numbers, or symbols.
4. Move your fingertips systematically across the Braille text, reading from left to right and top to bottom, just like reading regular text.
Writing Braille:
1. Learn the Braille alphabet and practice writing each letter, number, punctuation mark, and special symbol.
2. Use a Braille slate and stylus, which is a tool specifically designed for writing Braille. The slate has rectangular openings to hold the paper, and the stylus is used to press the dots onto the paper through the openings.
3. Place a piece of Braille paper or cardstock into the slate, ensuring it is aligned properly.
4. Hold the stylus like a pen or pencil and press the appropriate dots onto the paper, one at a time, following the Braille alphabet.
5. Lift the stylus after each dot is pressed to avoid smudging or blending the dots together.
6. Continue writing the desired text, moving from left to right and top to bottom on the paper.
7. Review your writing by feeling the dots with your fingertips to ensure accuracy.
It is important to note that learning Braille may require time and practice, as it is a tactile skill that requires the ability to distinguish between the different dot patterns. However, with dedication and persistence, individuals can become proficient in reading and writing Braille.
