How to disassemble and install the gasoline generator?

First, the removal step

1 Remove the motor outlet, front window cover, coupling, and coupling flange.

2 Remove the rear cover, junction box panel, disconnect the connection between the exciter stator and the main generator terminal board, and then remove the bolts on the rear end cover of the motor, and remove the rear end cover together with the exciter stator. .

3 Single-bearing generator, first untie the connection between the lead-out line and the terminal block in the outlet box, and then remove the drive disc, then use a special lifting device to slowly lift the rotor out of the stator. For dual-bearing generators, the connection between the lead-out line and the terminal block in the outlet box must first be disconnected. Remove the front bearing cover and then remove the bolts on the front cover. Then, remove the cover from the opening to remove the front cover. Then you can use the special spreader to slowly lift the rotor out of the stator.

4 To remove the bearing, first remove the retaining ring at the bearing and pull the bearing out with the pulling foot.

5 For large-capacity generators, the weight of the rotor is large, and screw holes are provided at the non-drive end of the shaft. When hoisting, auxiliary tools can be used to assist hoisting.

Second, the assembly steps of the generator

Thoroughly wipe the mating surfaces of the components and assemble them in the opposite direction of the disassembly process, taking care not to injure the insulation of the coil.

Gasoline generator disassembly precautions

1 When dismantling the connection joints, attention should be paid to the marking on the thread. If the markings are missing or unclear, they should be marked again. When reassembling, it can be reconnected in-circuit according to the circuit diagram, which is not adjustable.

2 The wire rope must not touch the journal of the rotor and the rotor lead. It must be covered with a wood board or rubber pad. When the rotor is pulled out or put into the rotor, in order to avoid the rotor and the stator core colliding, the air gap can be used to observe. After the rotor is taken out, the journal should be coated with anti-rust oil and wrapped in thick paper. Do not touch the stator coil when the rotor is installed in the stator.

3 The removed parts should be properly kept and should not be randomly placed so as not to be lost. The parts should be handled carefully to avoid deformation or damage due to impact.

4 When replacing the rotating rectifying component, note that the conducting direction of the rectifying component should be consistent with that of the original component. Measure the forward and reverse resistance with a multimeter to determine if the silicon rectifying component is damaged. The forward (conducting direction) resistance of the rectifying element should be small, and the reverse direction resistance should be large.

5 If replacing the excitation windings of the generator, pay attention to the polarities of the magnetic poles. The pole coils should be connected in a positive and negative order. After the insulation treatment, the rotor of the generator should be calibrated on the balancing machine to correct the dynamic balance. The method of correcting the balance is to increase the weight on the balance fan of the generator and the non-drive end.

6 When disassembling the bearing caps and bearings of gasoline generators , pay attention to properly cover the removed parts with clean paper to prevent dust from flying in. If dust is immersed in the bearing grease, replace all bearing grease.

7 When reassembling the end caps and bearing caps, a small amount of oil should be added to the cap end caps and fastening bolts for easy removal. The end cap bearing cap bolts should be screwed in several ways.

8 After the generator is assembled, slowly turn the rotor by hand or other tools. The rotor should be flexible and free from any scratches.
