Dr. Lin Tiejian, currently chief engineer of engine combustion technology for commercial vehicles of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., gave a deep impression on wisdom and humility. He joined the Yuchai construction team for only three years and was in the development of the combustion system of the engine. An important breakthrough was made, which provided a solid guarantee for Yuchai’s product development and independent innovation capabilities.

At the end of 2005, after finishing the postdoctoral research work in Tianjin University’s State Key Laboratory of Internal Combustion Engines, Lin Tiejian chose to join Yuchai. In order to break the combustion system, which is the key subsystem for determining whether a diesel engine is energy-saving and environmentally friendly, he effectively applied his deep knowledge of combustion theory and scientific research experience to practice, and obtained valuable first-hand, direct and accurate test data.

From September 2006, Lin Tiejian served as the leader of the performance development team of Yuchai Technology Center; in January 2007, he was employed as the chief engineer of engine combustion technology for commercial vehicles and became the Yuchai commercial vehicle country 3 and 4 engine combustion development system. The main developer of the plan.

At the beginning of Yuchai, Lin Tiejian was engaged in the combustion development of two common rail countries, Yuchai 4F and 6J, and was responsible for tracking the matching and setting work of the combustion systems of these two series. After arduous and hard work, both 4F and 6J models initially established the parameters of the fuel system in just one month, and achieved compliance with the State 3 emission regulations. Among them, 6J-30 diesel engine has become the main model of the urban bus market, won the 2008 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Second Prize, for enterprises to create economic benefits exceeding 100 million yuan.

Since then, Lin Tiejian has been focusing on the development of ultra-low emission environmental protection diesel engines. As the person in charge of combustion system development, he has participated in the development of the first YC6L series diesel engine that has passed the national 4 emission certification. In the research and development of the YC6L-50 diesel engine, the first emission-eligible country in China, Lin Tiejian played a pivotal role as the chief responsible person for the development of the combustion and emissions system.

In 2008, Lin Tiejian was responsible for the development and follow-up of Yuchai's advanced low-emission combustion technology. He organized the development of three-engine combustion systems in the country, and obtained Yuchai's annual sales of over 50,000 units and 2,500 units of Yuchai State 4 engine buses. The gratifying achievements of the Olympic Games have made indelible contributions.

As the project leader, Lin Tiejian also successfully applied for the “863 Program” (National High-tech Research and Development Program) “R&D for passenger car hybrid special-purpose diesel engine”. This project is based on Yuchai and is currently progressing smoothly. It has become Yuchai R&D. New highlights.
