The tomato cuttings are inserted into the rooting fluid, and after they are rooted, they are then incubated with a nutrient solution to grow a robust seedling.
Second, the preparation of rooting fluid
Put 1 g of indole acetic acid powder into a small cup, add a small amount of alcohol, and dissolve it into a container filled with 5 kg of clear water, which is 200 mg/kg of indole acetic acid stock solution. When inserting the tomato cuttings with water, measure 10 mL of the stock solution and pour it into a container filled with 10 kg of fresh water. Stir well and use it as a rooting solution for water plugging.
Third, the preparation of nutrient solution
Take 10.2 g of potassium nitrate, 4.9 g of calcium nitrate, 2.3 g of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, and 4.9 g of magnesium sulfate. Dissolve them in a small amount of water, and pour them into a container filled with 10 kg of water. Stir well and make the water. Required nutrient solution. When preparing, note that the magnesium sulfate solution should be poured into the container last to avoid precipitation.
Fourth, the preparation of water containers
The water plug container has a 500 ml wide mouth bottle, and the bottom of the bottle is filled with a crushed stone with a diameter of 1 to 2 cm for fixing the cutting plug, and 10 to 12 bottles are inserted per bottle. The water plug containers need to be cleaned and sterilized with boiling water.
V. Management of water transplanting seedlings
Tomato seedlings can be planted in glass greenhouses, plastic greenhouses or arc-shaped arch sheds according to local conditions.
