On November 25th, Philips, the world's leading lighting brand, held a grand opening ceremony for its new Malu plant in Jiading. Ma Luxin plant is Philips Lighting's second factory in China. It imports two headlamp production lines from Europe and carries out domestic assembly and production of all imported light bulb components. The Ma Lu factory is the second factory of Philips Automotive Lighting in China (the first factory was established in Songzi, Hubei Province). The Hubei Songzi factory mainly produces dual-filament automotive halogen headlamps, conventional signal lights and motorcycle lights. Ma Lu will produce high-efficiency halogen headlamps, import parts directly from abroad, and assemble light bulbs.
Philips Automotive Lighting Malu Plant currently has two headlamp production lines, all production equipment imported from abroad, using the latest European light bulb assembly technology. All Malu plant employees have received rigorous technical training in Europe. Philips Automotive Lighting will regularly organize staff to travel to Europe to learn about the latest developments and achievements of foreign technologies and ensure that the Malu plant's technology is synchronized with Europe.
