Tianhua Chemical Oil Tank Fiber Reinforced Graphite Flake Coating passed the appraisal

The results of the crude oil storage tank fiber reinforced graphite flake coating developed by Tianhua Chemical Machinery and Automation Research and Design Institute have recently passed the technical appraisal organized by China Petrochemical Corporation.

The crude oil storage tank fiber reinforced graphite flake coating project has established a high-temperature corrosion-resistant resin as a rubber compound, and a large-scale solid filler with strong electrostatic conductivity, graphite flakes as the main aggregate, with high bulk strength and good wear resistance. The short-cut fiber reinforced material with good deformation resistance is a solvent-free thick film type coating structure system with functional filler.

The system has the characteristics of corrosion resistance medium penetration, small curing residual stress, high interface bonding strength, long-term static conduction, good resistance to deformation of the base body, and stable construction performance. At the same time, the project proposed the coating vacuum preparation technology, and developed the design of the base production and construction site vacuum mixing equipment, thus achieving the formation of large-diameter solid fillers in the resin material with low entrapment bubbles, improving product quality.
