Concept of internal structure of the process

The internal structure of the process is the details within the principle process. Only the details of each process can be used to fully reflect the specific production process of a flotation plant.
The internal structure of the process usually reflects the number of roughing, finening, sweeping, and processing of the mine included in each sorting cycle. (See Figure 1).
Rough selection—the first operation of the slurry into a sorting cycle.
Selected - rough selection of foam products (coarse concentrate) re-flotation operation, in order to improve the concentrate grade, the selection of qualified concentrate grades is more than once. For example, in the selection of gold , the common selection times are 2~ 3 times. For some of the ore-floating properties, ore grades such as molybdenite , which have low ore grades and require high concentrate grades, are selected 5 to 6 times. The more the number of selections, the higher the quality (grade) of the concentrate, but the recovery rate is reduced. The appropriate number of times depends on the nature of the ore and the quality of the concentrate to be determined by experimentation.

Sweeping - roughing the tailings and then flotation. Within a certain range, the number of sweeps is increased, the recovery rate is increased, and there are 2 to 3 sweeps in the gold selection. The number of sweeps of specific ore should also be determined by experiment.
In the mine - the process can not be used as a product outside the final concentrate and tailings products (foam of selected tailings and sweeping operations) is known as the middle mine.
 
There are several ways to deal with the mine.
When the mine returns to the previous operation in sequence, the nature of the mine changes little, and there is no special requirement, the medium mine generally adopts the method of returning to the previous operation step by step. This is the most commonly used medium mine return method (Figure 1). That is, the Chinese mine returns in sequence.)
The mine returned in one. It is to combine all or part of the mines to return to a suitable operation in the front, such as returning to the roughing operation, so that the medium mine can be subjected to multiple re-elections. It is suitable for ores with good floatability and high quality for concentrate.
The mine is re-grinded. When there are more connected organisms in the middle mine, the middle mine can be returned to the front grinding and grading operation for re-grinding, or re-grinding separately.
The middle mine is treated separately. When the nature of the mine is special, it can be treated separately when it returns to the original process, which affects the flotation process (including the use of chemical treatment methods).
